How Spride Share works.

Vehicle Owners

1. Register - Join Spride Share by completing the online application form. We will check your vehicle history and your driving record and within a few days contact you to schedule the installation of Car Sharing hardware.

2. Set Up - Spride Share will arrange for the installation of a device that will enable trusted drivers to access your vehicle without the need to exchange keys. The hardware and installation process will not damage your vehicle. We will also ensure that you have a proper insurance policy and provide you with decals and other materials for your vehicle.

3. Schedule - Using our online scheduler, you can set the rates, location, and availability of your vehicle. Our easy-to-use system is available on our Web site and accessible via a smart phone. You can be notified (via text message or e-mail) every time your vehicle is being used.

4. Get Paid - Spride Share will collect usage fees on your behalf. Every month your vehicle is used you will receive a check.

Spride Share Members

1. Register - Anyone with a valid driver’s license can apply by completing the online application form. Spride Share will check your driving record and if approved, within a few days you will receive a membership packet with information and a key fob that allows access to participating vehicles.

2. Reserve a Vehicle - Find and reserve vehicles using our Web site or your smart phone. Choose the time slot, vehicle, and location that works for you.

3. Access the Vehicle - Hold your key fob over the car’s windshield, and the door will unlock. The actual key will be waiting near the ignition switch.

4. Drive - Gas and insurance are included, so you can start driving immediately. Just bring the car back to the same spot where you picked it up at the time you indicated when booking the vehicle. Your credit card will be billed automatically.
